The season of gigs and festivals is upon us, so what better way to kickstart the music than to launch our brand-new feature exclusively for SUBTV venues – welcome to SUBTV Spotted Sessions. To start it all off, we partnered with Edge Hill SU to create an unforgettable evening with Nina Nesbitt – bringing the music from screens to stage.
Nina Nesbitt headlined the first ever Metaverse Festival at the end of 2021 alongside Deadmau5, not to mention a TikTok sensation with over 8.2 million likes and hit #1 on TikTok UK’s Hot 50 with ‘Summer Fling’.
So naturally before heading off for her American tour, Nina Nesbitt stopped by for an exclusive performance with SUBTV Spotted.
Students at Edge Hill found themselves in the mix of an intimate live music session at the heart of their SU.
Taking time out of their study schedule, Nina Nesbitt took to the stage where students became in awe of her angelic performance.
To launch SUBTV Spotted X Nina Nesbitt in style, our in-house design team created eye-catching content for our screens, app and socials all for Edge Hill SU to promote in the lead up to the event.
SUBTV Spotted prides itself on bringing the music from the screens to the stage, so weeks prior to the event we had dedicated playlists scheduled just with Nina Nesbitt to raise awareness.
Through localised promotions, on-screen content and tailored playlists, it was safe to say the word got out!
We were grateful to partner with such an engaging student union, who are equally as passionate with our visions and supportive in every way possible. Edge Hill assisted in bringing the event to life, promoting all our content and more to reach their students.
In all manner of ways, the launch of SUBTV Spotted was a success, the perfect venue, engaging students and a mesmerising performance by Nina resulted in a 28% increase in footfall on the previous Thursday peak.
Students at Edge Hill and great fans of Nina Nesbitt watched in gratitude with some of them having the opportunity to meet Nina Nesbitt with exclusive behind the scenes access.
SUBTV Spotted was a valuable experience for us and Edge Hill SU to partner up and engage with students across the campus. This was also a great opportunity for our channel viewers to participate in an event like no other, with Nina Nesbitt making it a reality.
